Pros

Infosys is a great place to grow and achieve your dreams. Here you will find that career opportunities are almost endless, be it IT, product development, sales, pre sales, research - whatever may be your passion. The company has a very effective communication mechanism between senior management and employees. This spans multiple media like email, face to face, live broadcast. This ensures the nearly hundred thousand employees feel connected. Infosys from the very beginning has had competent HR practices, in terms of hiring, retention, training and development. In short, a great place to be - whether in the US, Inda or any other part of the globe, where Infosys has established itself.

Kontras

At Infosys there is tremendous focus on productivity - for individuals, for departments etc. This may have good outcomes, in terms of ensuring a motivated and high performance workforce. But at times this may cause periodic strains, in maintaining a healthy work life balance. The fact that its operations stretch across multiple time zones also adds to the problems which might occus. But hey, whoever said that working for a leader would be easy? Some internal processes may also appear to be very rigid, more so as Infosys follows strict SOX compliance in all internal dealings as well - this leads to extended paperwork, approval etc.
