Pros

People are very friendly toward each other and foster a general environment of collaboration for mutual benefit. Most employees are technologically competent, especially in the adoption of new technologies. Out of the Indian IT companies, they have taken the most holistic approach to management to create positive atmospheres in their Indian campuses. A new diversity office creates a globalized workplace in India (social policies, paternal leave, flexi-time). Along with several other employee-started groups, the "life" part of work-life balance seems to be flourishing.

Kontras

The company is plagued with redundant, outdated processes which limit employee independence and self-reliance in their roles. The paternalistic mentality places rules and constraints on people, thereby leaving control and power to only a few people. There is also a pervasive reluctance to see the reality of a situation despite facts to the contrary. The collective pressure to be optimistic is strongly felt at every level. Lastly, there are no merit-based promotions. If you are promoted, its due to your relationship with a well-placed friend.
