Pros
The initial compensation package was generous. They offered me an initial four weeks of PTO, which is not something you often see.
Kontras
Right after I started, they took away stock options, then the employer's matching to the 401k, then they froze salaries across the board for years, but pointed out that they had not laid anyone off like our competitor. The management was terrible. They did nothing to try to incent their employees to stay or to improve morale.
