The following refers to the IT department. The sick culture here is to give people in the company for many years a huge power. You can be good or bad, you can work hard or not, it doesn't matter. If someone does not like you or think you are a threat, they will try to kick you out with lies and silly excuses.
I was kicked out this way: they blamed me for a small mistake and because I didn't ask enough questions to my colleagues (simply ridicolous). I worked hard, often working extra hours to complete my tasks, all the stakeholders and colleagues were happy. All but two, a manager (who has just left) and someone working there for more than 20 years. I talked with a guy who worked there and was kicked out last year, the process was exactly the same. Shame on you.
I can just say: think ten times before joining this company.
