- Everybody came here with a pretty clear purpose in mind: fixing healthcare. Lots of personal experiences and reasons. - Good internal systems and clear communication channels across teams (Slack was recently implemented, which helps) - Not a lot of ego compared to other tech companies I have worked for (people are pretty humbled by the opportunity, it seems, and the other people they work with) - Almost obsessive dedication to the patient

Kontras

- technology here = data and data science focus. not so much a con as something to be aware of - the company is focused on more financial metrics now as it's acheived real scale... that is causing some disruption with teams (not me particularly) - the experience of individual managers is varied... which means that some are better and some are worse at advocating for their teams. - no meal services beyond a free lunch at company meeting (snacks are really solid though) -

While we do focus a lot on our data, we are definitely focused on other parts of the product as well, whether it is our patient experience, our expert experience or our care and med team tools. We have invested a lot in managerial training and will continue to do so, in even more elevated fashion going forward. A positive aspect of the company is the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The role helps build strong communication, multitasking, problem-solving, and customer service skills. There is also meaningful work involved in helping patients and clients navigate important healthcare needs. Many employees are committed to doing their best and providing quality support, even in a challenging environment.

Kontras

Expectations are unrealistic, and performance is heavily micromanaged by leadership through constant metric tracking. Employees are expected to keep up with frequent changes while prioritizing contract clients and patient satisfaction, often at the expense of employee well-being. Very stressful and overwhelming experience! There is little work-life balance they will add you to Evening and weekend shifts even if you were hired mon-fri. Overall, employees feel undervalued, overworked, and unsupported. TERRIBLE EMPLOYER
