Pros

There are none in the slightest.

Kontras

Where to start: -Isn't it strange that every good review on here is written in exactly the same format, mostly under the same date? Seems very much like this company are writing and posting their own good reviews on here so that they appear better than they actually are. - This work is non-contractable, you don't sign a contract of agreement, it is not a proper, safe job. - They sell this job as a management scheme with a £200-400 initial minimum salary. This is incorrect. You are self-employed, in a pyramid scheme, with no contract, the company do not give you any basic wage. The money that you earn is purely from the door to door sales you achieve; which, if you are lucky will be £30 a day (this is one sale) - The hours are ridiculous. With days lasting as long as 12-13 hours. They again sell it to you by making out the more days/longer hours you work, the quicker you will climb the ladder. That's funny. The people that are telling you that are the people that will make more money from you the longer you work. Avoid.

Pros

Friendly staff - very lovely to talk to but an illegitimate business nevertheless.

Kontras

The salary advertised was 20-25k (negotiable), upon being offer the job I was told the only wage I'm actually guaranteed is £200 P/W. I was asked if I was capable of working weekends, some days up until 8pm. When you do the math it equates to less than £3 P/H. There is a multitude of advertisements on LinkedIn for graduates from all different backgrounds which implies you're recruiting for different roles, but ultimately it's just for the same bottom tier job. Actual guaranteed salary is 10.4k - NOT 20-25k like they advertised. The rest should be made up in bonuses. I have been advised this is what's known as a pyramid / ponzi scheme and the legality of such is iffy. As a business you have a responsibility to be clearly conveying important details such as the salary, if it's competitive, say it is prior to the interview.

Pros

Modern relaxed environment. Friendly and upbeat colleagues. Pool table, music, happy atmosphere.

Kontras

Thought I would become an employee of Inception Promotions. With an employee contract. Aparent starting salary of £200-£400 per week while training when really this is pay as you earn scheme (commission only) not a set employee wage. You pay as you earn for 3 months and after 3 month probationary period you have to register as self employed etc.

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to submit a review. We always welcome feedback and we take every review seriously. It’s great to read your positive feedback about the working environment. We are really proud to offer a fun, friendly and nurturing working environment. We want to create a culture where people enjoy coming to work every day. When people are happy, productivity is high. It appears that there has been miscommunication. It should have been explained thoroughly during the interview process that this is a self-employed role. After you completed the interview process, on your first day in training, you would have signed a contract which thoroughly explains that you would be an independent contractor, working on a self-employed base, as well as highlighting the commission structure. This should have been explained thoroughly and you should have had the opportunity to ask any questions. We appreciate the feedback and we will definitely be taking steps to ensure that the contract is more thoroughly explained. Best of luck in the future.
