Small company (growing! ) but is categorized as a small business--therefore compensation is base + bonus. With minimal base salary. Was told during the interview process that this was a new position, and upon 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year evaluations we would discuss increasing my salary package. However, upon my evaluation at 3 months I was presented with Bonus Structure Guidelines that actually reduced the amount of "qualified bonus" money earned so far, and made it nearly impossible to achieve.
