You can realistically work for months without being bothered. Perfect for someone who loves travel and ability to make their own schedule.

You will work +40 hours a week, only getting overtime if you happen to also work a sunday. Often putting out fires on site and doing more than your job description. More of a technician than an engineer. You will get very dirty.
