Highgate budgets for two managers where there should be four. Twice the work for half the amount of managers. Work/life is not a thing. Low contributions to employee benefit plans. It feels like the above property leadership is always shifting or trying new initiatives that don’t seem to go anywhere. Every week we were reinventing the wheel with little or no training about the procedure. All of these things create so much pressure that at the hotel level, teams are turning on each other. It’s toxic top to bottom.
