Pros

The current CEO has made this place amazing - it's so nice to have an exec team that listens/cares/wants to improve all facets of the operation. There is room to grow if you work hard and have a positive attitude. Diverse in age, race, gender across the company.

Kontras

Like most offices, the gossip is constant, and there are sometimes unpleasant attitudes that make collaborating with different departments difficult at times. Ignore it and don't get involved. The lack of communication from one department to the rest on changes/new products/ etc. is awful - it is incredibly stressful because things change, and there is no update provided.

If you have ideas for information you feel you need to know or simply ideas for content you'd like to see in the newsletter, you can always reach out to the Marketing team. The team invites all staff members to do so each time the monthly newsletter is sent out and is happy to create the content for you or to help you create it if you'd like. Interdepartmental competitions or challenges can be fun and healthy for the workplace; they serve to foster stronger working relationships between departments that work closely together, not to exclude other departments. If you'd like to institute a competition or challenge between specific departments or the entire HII team, we hope you feel comfortable approaching your manager with your idea so you can make it happen. Please let the Marketing team know about it so your idea can be featured in the newsletter!
