The management (our district manager, especially) was awful, they cared NOTHING for their employees and they ONLY cared about sales. We were a BRAND new store; new construction, we set up the store, everything... & we had one DAY of training on how to run the store. Then, they sent us an hour away to train for ONE more day (not on register...we were on the computer the entire day.) We had our soft opening with no training & our grand opening with no extra training. The management only cared about our stats and sales, were VERY reluctant to work with us on any scheduling changes, and were all around rude. Our store manager straight up walked off the job, and I (the sales SUPERVISOR, not even the manager...because we didn't HAVE a sales manager, she left a few months before that and they never replaced her) was doing all of her work, plus the sales manager's, plus mine. They REFUSED to promote me (even though I was doing all that work AND have a business degree). It was an AWFUL company and it actually sucked my SOUL out. After they refused to promote me and said if I couldn't work with their schedule (having me work 1:30-9 four out of my five shifts), they were saying they were thinking of demoting me to just senior sales. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND WORKING FOR OR EVER SHOPPING THERE.
