Mary Alice is a great person to work for and was a great mentor!

None it was a great experience!

-bosses are nice -will buy you lunch once in a while on their on terms

-most interns worked 15-30 hours a week unpaid -have to pay for your own gas and lunches -super disorganized office -will literally send one single intern to run a million tasks by themselves with their hands full in downtown LA which is so dangerous and completely ignores their safety -they physically exhaust you, I literally ended up in the ER after work -often felt like I was teaching them rather than learning anything -they expect you to produce top quality work and get mad when you don’t even though they don’t pay you a single penny -they send interns out an errands that can take up to an hour and they come back clearly exhausted and give them a one minute break and send them out again with even heavier things to deliver -everyone is nice but a lot of employees love to talk crap about each other behind each other’s backs so unhealthy/toxic work environment -don’t even think about trying to use an internship opportunity to land an actual position here they’ll just laugh at you -will ask you to come in on your off days and do their job because they’re going on a personal vacation
