Expect to work long hours here. Many people continue working even when taking annual leave and sick leave. They talk about work/life balance but it's difficult to achieve because they keep you highly occupied and expect very high efficiency. They encourage you to take online training courses but they don't give you dedicated time for them. They have a mentality that if people from Eastern Europe are willing to accept a certain salary, then likewise candidates from Western Europe should be offered similar salaries. They have a lot of improvements to make regarding communication and time efficiency. There are too many meetings with too many people in them. Far too many emails and chat messages being sent which overwhelms everyone. They have weak management although they are beginning to address this. Whilst they do have management guidelines saying that a manager should speak to his direct reports and advise them if poor performance is observed, in reality those guidelines are not always followed. You might lose your job based on criticism from your colleagues, without being given a fair opportunity to address any concerns. They are behind the times regarding software development technologies such as automated testing.
