1. Salaries used to be above market level 2–3 years ago. 2. Opportunity to grow not only as an engineer but also try yourself as a mentor or interviewer. 3.If you’re lucky, you can land on an interesting global project. 4. Benefit basket that can be used for health or hobbies.

1.There were cases when employees were told everything was “fine” in person while being pressured behind the scenes to resign “voluntarily.” 2.An unpaid bench was recently introduced, where people are forced to take unpaid leave — a practice that is at the very least questionable from a legal standpoint. 3. Internships used to be highly desirable, but now the program has turned into something closer to Endava’s approach: after 6 months of training you are “kept,” but often still pushed into unpaid leave. 4.Quality of management strongly depends on the team: in some cases, employees are treated more like resources than people, which directly affects work/life balance. 5.Salary freeze has been in place for about two years, and recognition or awards often go only to “favorites.” 6.Local office operates on a minimal budget: no team buildings, no proper snacks or coffee in the office. 7.Moldova office is treated as the “India of Europe,” with little investment or care. 8. Only 8 parking spots for 200+ employees.

Pros

Grid Dynamics was a FANTASTIC place to work. They essentially function as a resource management company where you will be contracted out to their customer for different projects. It allows for a wide variety of different opportunities.

Kontras

The only downside of Grid Dynamics is that you are tied to the viability of the different contracts. While Grid makes every effort to keep you with the company between contracts, if there aren't any contracts with openings then you will be released. However, Grid has a concept of putting people on a "bench" where you get paid while you wait for a new role in a contract.
