      lots of hours available to work, tons of walk in customers, steady business, hair cut sales that keep company busy, flexible hours available to work (open 7 days a week), cheap services, usually good tips, discount on hair products for yourself, tons of locations to choose from

      Kontras

      long hours, high turn over rate of employees, usually no lunch break, open on holidays (nights and weekends too), no insurance or healthcare benefits, not much room to advance in the company unless you become a manager or corporate employee

      Pros

      Great co-workers, good tips, generally busy, clientele overall friendly, management is super cool and will try to be as flexible as possible with your schedule.

      Working evenings and weekends, but that is salon life.

      Flexible schedules, 401k, health, & dental benefits, bonuses (based on salon performance, base wage with poetional to hit commission on service & product sales, fun friendly & welcoming environment for employees/customers, continuing education for growth in the industry, professional career growth with Great Clips (depending upon your franchise)

      Kontras

      Haircutting exclusive so if you enjoy other services in the industry (chemicals, waxing, updo styling) this is not the place Franchised salons, so salons are ran differently.
