Goosehead fosters an incredibly unique environment where a long-standing industry meets a workforce of fierce, young-spirited, and motivated team members. Over my years of experience with the company, a few values which have unwaveringly remained constants are integrity, extreme ownership, and meritocracy. For a team member that joins and focuses on being the absolutely best at their current role while also taking care of those around them, opportunity will arise. A focused effort on continued excellence and growth when such opportunity does come about will give way to more opportunity. With the proper attitude and efforts sustained over time, just like compound interest, one's career can flourish.

While I will not qualify the following feedback as "downsides," it is fair to identify them as factors of which one may be weary ahead of joining the organization. Career growth takes time; instant gratification is not a reality. While one can have success on a short timeline and see that pay out financially depending upon the role, true career growth within the company takes sustained efforts over time. Strong performance will also take conscious effort and engagement. Goosehead operates in a vast and complex industry, so a team member seeking success and growth must be actively engaged on a regular basis and committed to learning; passive existence will not be sufficient for an enriching career.
