Say they are "second chance employment" but offer little opportunity for job training and advancement for entry level employees. Work is monotonous and physical with quotas being enforced. "Management" salaries are lowest possible to avoid paying overtime and all employees are expected to have open availability making school or a second job impossible (again defeating their mission of second chance employment).
