Pros
There's a lot to like about working at Glowforge. Beyond the obvious stuff like the catered lunches, the company seems to actually care about things that matter, such as good salaries, solid healthcare and other benefits, and actually putting a real effort into making sure our workforce reflects the diversity of the city around us. My coworkers are all amazing, brilliant people who work tirelessly to build and deliver a product I genuinely believe is the coolest damn thing I've seen in a long time.

My experience has been pretty positive, so I'm having a little trouble with comping up with cons. The few cons I can think of generally have to do with benefits. While we have a 401k plan, there's no employer matching at this time. Similarly, at a previous job, we had a program where for each year of tenure, you gained an additional vacation day, and I wish we had something in place like that. It's a small thing, but it's the sort of thing that makes great employees want stay with the company.
