Pros

There are no pros to this job. If you're really good at negotiating, you might get a decent base comp. But it is all downhill from there.

Kontras

Everything. Samad, the CEO, speaks a lot of "transparency" and "high-performance" talk and might show you some polished stuff during the interview process, but once you start, he is one of the worst people in life. Not just at work. He doesn't care about anyone. He micromanages. Benefits suck. He doesn't treat anyone with any respect. Everyone hates him. Everyone at the company just wanted to have a job. No one is excited to work here. No one wants to work with Samad. Most people hired here are gone within 3 months. He makes management post fake reviews online so that we can hire more people so that he can continue firing people. Additionally, he won't pay any severance. I've seen multiple people on our teams get let go. He'll offer to allow them to pretend to work at Glow until they find a new job, but most of the people with more than 3 months of experience with Glow had already been fired. Samad turns on you in the blink of an eye. From being friendly one day to making your life a living hell until you leave.

Pros

Fast paced, the work is meaningful, and there’s a real shot to blow up. I genuinely love the challenge and the team does their best to ensure you're supported. I constantly help businesses understand insurance, find better policies and reduce their cost. They love you for helping.

Kontras

It changes a lot, you can’t coast, pay is earned, and most haven’t been able to find a home. That said, it’s been shocking see other reviews on here. Most Utah salespeople have no idea what a startup looks like, they were spoon fed and from what I read it’s clear that’s what they wanted here. They were challenged, folded like a lawn chair, and after a lack of adaptable blamed all their problems on the company. One dude constantly complained about the music, needless to say, he was remote before coming here. He also couldn’t sell with complexity, he was used to basic and transactional.
