They do not honour contracts - Freelance Graphic Designer bei Given: Mitarbeiterbewertung

I was taken on as a Freelancer to cover work overflow. They had forgotten that they had a new starter joining at the same time and realised that they did not need my support. They dismissed me immediately then tried to squirm their way out of paying the notice period in their own contract. The way they dealt with their resource error was a disgrace and they expected me to take the hit for it. They tried every dirty trick to try and squirm out of the contract. I won in the end, as they didn't have a leg to stand on. In all my years freelancing, I've never ever seen such disgusting, unprofessional behaviour by an employer. An absolute disgrace. Freelancers - BEWARE.
