Pros
Working at Genmab is rewarding because we all share a clear goal and are driven to make a difference. People are very willing to work together and collaborate, the team is great. I feel I can be myself at work. There is a strong focus on employee wellbeing through various tools and benefits, and I see the managers take the human perspective in their business decisions because they want to preserve our culture. In my area we are encouraged in doing our work with autonomy and independence. This provides many opportunities for growth and learning.
Kontras
As the company has grown quickly, some processes aren't smooth yet and can be frustrating. We are continuously optimizing and reorganizing, for some people this can be annoying. But, it's also exciting to contribute to building the organization. I do see some people struggling with maintaining a good work-life balance due to many meetings and enthusiasm, a supportive manager is key to keep the boundaries. I would not mind more opportunity for promotion. For me, the strong sense of community, supportive teamwork, and being part of something impactful outweigh the growing pains.
