      Pros

      People will say that this place is old fashioned company but that isn't a bad thing. The company pension and 9/80 are a nice benefit but the number one reason to work here is that they never have any layoffs. During slowdowns the company will go out of their way to find a place for you and you don't see that anymore. So the trendy tech company's can keep their free yogurt and laundy and I'll keep my job!

      Large company problems. You need to work well with others in a big company and that's not a skill many engineers have.

Since you’ve been here for a while, you know that everything we’ve accomplished was only made possible because of the contributions of GA employees like yourself. While we can’t promise there will never be layoffs, we are fortunate to have a skilled and flexible workforce and we’ll always try to keep them working at GA!

      Good working environment Exciting projects Great coworkers (for the most part, like any place)

      Like any maturing company, it has become more and more top-heavy, placing more and more emphasis on project management and milestones, sometimes over bread-and-butter engineering. I could have half the PMs I have now and do a better job
