Pros
Smooth on-boarding and super friendly colleagues. I was a bit daunted by the legal industry as a whole, but for my first office role I've been incredibly pleased with everything. The workplace is really well maintained, warm and welcoming. After a few weeks you really feel at home and everyone becomes approachable once you've met them. Generally very social if you want it to be, and there's always plenty of events to get involved with. The work has been engaging and I've learnt loads in a short space of time. There's a bit of a common sense attitude which I love, and people appreciate that you can't be busy all the time (i.e encouraged to appreciate lulls when work is naturally steady). There are lots of experienced professionals you can talk to and soak up as much learning as you can, and all the teams can assist you in some way. Generally very positive and I would encourage people to apply.
Kontras
The vastness of the company across the UK means you might not always meet colleagues who you work with regularly, which I think is a bit of a shame. There are opportunities at bigger social events but these don't come around that often. There also aren't too many employee benefits in general.
