Pros
Benefits, “flexible work schedule”, company car (for field adjusters), OT. If you want OT it will be plentiful for the foreseeable future. If you’re doing your job and working the required 7.75 hours a day you can work from home, go to doctors appt etc without having to take time off. You are truly unsupervised and have flexibility.
Kontras
Lack of teamwork, morale is down, lack of communication from management. Management wants everyone to be one team, however adjusters are pitted against each other for metrics. Claims department constantly throws adjusters under the bus and all they know how to do is cc your supervisor on every email. Over half the adjusters are miserable. Turnover is crazy high. Management doesn’t feel the need to tell you anything ahead of time. Yet they’ll plan conference calls to waste your time on BS training. Also if you say you’re going to quit they’re so desperate they’ll make the changes for you to stay.
