Pros

My coworkers excluding C-level employees have all been some of the smartest and most talented people I've ever met. Sometimes they have pop tarts.

Kontras

Literally everything else. There is a huge bottleneck when it comes to FC's C-level leadership. Every executive position is held by only two people, and as a result every approval and important decision flows through them and no one else. They are both extremely spread thin by the volume of their workload, and also completely unwilling to relinquish control to anyone else, and take out their frustrations on the team constantly. They are simultaneously vitriolic and afraid of conflict. They will often opt to sending a scathing email instead of meeting to discuss issues in person, even if you're in the same room at the time of email receipt. Constructive feedback is non-existent, and performance reviews are postponed indefinitely until forgotten about.

Pros

Flexibility and Remote working environment

Kontras

Projects can be demanding and unorganized at times. Yet the management staff works to ensure fluidity with all tasks!

Pros

If you're young and hungry, this is a creative and exciting place to cut your teeth. Passion is the fuel that this company runs on so be prepared to join in the madness that is fast turn around projects with technology that's untested and bleeding edge. - There are some great projects that you'll get to work on - The overall company culture is laid back and co-workers are pleasant - There's opportunity for mentorship & training (Jake is a wealth of knowledge) - Everyone is given a chance to be creatively involved in designing experiences

Kontras

But after a while you're likely to realize that the expectation placed upon you to do 2-3 people's job is unsustainable and doesn't even come close to matching the compensation. - All decisions are unilaterally made by the CEO which causes huge bottlenecks and inefficiencies - A general lack of trust in employees tends to cause leadership to be overbearing at their best and belittling at their worst - Incessant focus on time tracking and task scheduling zaps energy - Lack of remote work flexibility and an overall transparent policy around this - Salary and healthcare benefits are not competitive
