Nothing, except the remote option

The training is awful, the pay is way too low. the system always had technical issues, and they don't give you options to enter time in and out, basically, they keep access and tell you that your time has been added through your trainer, the good excuse is, we are trying to fix some errors. They tell you that the company will send you a second monitor so have your own to start with, there's no way that the job can be done with one monitor, you have to open multiple windows while talking to a client. there are many steps to go through before training. They don't pay you for orientation. you are supposed to take calls while doing your training and getting the system issues fixed at the same time. HR never answers your phone calls and the mailbox is always full so you can't leave any messages. The job duties that they tell you to start with will add more to it, worked there for 3 weeks without pay, and I was told since you were born in another country so we are having issues sending you the paycheck.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Kontras

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
