Pros

Depends very much on which campaign you work on but my personal experience has been quite ok. I have been a outbound customer service agent for about 3 years, jobs is easy. Freedom to walk away from your desk when you like it which is not the case when you are an inbound agent, so that's great.

Kontras

Very low pay, no sick pay although they have been promoting the "people first" slogan :-), They say quality is important but in practice it is all about the numbers.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Kontras

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
