Senior leadership has good intentions, poor execution. During a significant staff reduction which resulted in an entire office being closed, the senior management blatantly lied to the staff, which they then corrected to the truth when challenged. Senior development management style has driven out highly qualified and productive employees over the years due to lack of listening or flexibility.
