Big projects, known company. Not much room to do what you want over what they need you to perform on the project.
Kontras
Performance reviews and yearly training aren't helpful. Most of the time performance reviews are completed by someone who doesn't work with you or know what you're doing throughout the year. Salary raise has no correlation to performance review.
