You could get lucky for first couple years in Sales with making good bonus with how your MOS is setting your targets.

Kontras

Once you are in for a few years, they will increase your target very high even without enough opportunities to justify the target. This will keep the Sales Engineer poor since the base pay is low.

Difficulty working in silos across facilities due to systems being different and not integrated into common system upon mergers.
