Pros
This was a great way to make money have insurance, and live off of. The management would be very understanding and give a lot of leeway as well as be friendly. They would also pay for up to $500 worth of gym memberships.
Kontras
The company was clearly losing money and had to take whatever they could get. Most of the employees would be younger than 30, and act under 30 all the time. (passsive aggressive fodder that people can easily see through) They had to close down another location that was about 4 hours ahead and create an overnight shift. when the first day you're told this is your in-between job by a higher-up, you stop taking things too seriously. pressure ramped up and they had to increase their quota per person. multiple chargebacks ensued from former employees as well. they needed to sacrifice quality over quantity. there would be cliques in which people would talk negative things about the company and their co-workers against shifts.
