Employees who are actually developing and maintaining the software systems are dedicated, professional, wonderful people to work with.

Constantly reorganizing and letting staff go which means employees that are left do more work without additional compensation. Moral is very low. Even managers are complaining about what top level executives are doing. Pay tends to be below market. Very little opportunities for advancement or even lateral movement.
