Pros
They hire anyone that applies which helps especially if you don’t have much experience.
Kontras
Being with the company for 2 years at the time, I won many awards such as advisor of the month and managers choice advisor. I was on the Lloyds contract and was experienced and trained in a few departments including personal banking, credit cards, disputes, and fraud. I took my chance at applying for a managers role when it opened up after 2 years of work, they decided not to give me a chance at an interview and instead gave the job to someone inexperienced and still in their probation period due to favouritism. For someone that has trained and helped up and coming advisors, and also helped during peak times, I did not feel appreciated for my service and help. I was passed up for someone who was still in their first few weeks in the job and decided to quit right after. This is not a company that will appreciate you, they promote based on favouritism. This is a job you would have part time as a student, or full time if you’re in a gap year at university. Not something that you could stay in for a long period of time.
