Pros

- supportive coworkers and supervisors who want you to grow and learn - training is the best in the biz. I have been through various trainings in ABA and FSFK is the best training I have received. - raise every year based on your competency - this job is so rewarding. you make a difference in these families lives. - a lot of opportunity of growth - supervisors are very open to communication. I was able to get my voice heard in things I needed. They are all amazing. The most wonderful people I have met.

- it is physically and emotionally demanding but very rewarding. Be prepared. Make sure you have a solid after work life and hobbies. - low pay to start but plenty of opportunities of growth - commute from client to client using personal car

Pros

I love this job and this company! The type of work we do really attracts kind and helpful people, which generates a welcoming culture. It's the first job where I've made friends with coworkers. I've never experienced a 'case of the Mondays' working here because I enjoy what I do and who I work with. What I appreciate about my role specifically is I am able to try new things, contribute ideas, and voice my desire to grow here. I've noticed the care and attention that is put into providing everyone, regardless of department, the resources and support to grow in this way. It's a rare find as I know sometimes in California it's a 'churn and burn' type of attitude, but not here. The tenure is really high and there's a reason for that--leadership really cares about the team as people.

Kontras

There are some pain points that come with a smaller company expanding such as filling new roles, but leadership is aware of those things and does what's in their control to mitigate them.

1 dollar bonus after completing ~300 clinical hours

Not much support for new RBTs; de-escalation techniques learned on the job after earning certification, rather than during training. 1 dollar bonus is advertised as something earned automatically after completing 3 months on the job, but is actually only earned after completing 300 clinical hours.
