Pros

Onsite area to eat lunch but no canteen Near to local shops

Recruitment process is long winded and no proper assessment matrix put in place to assess new and existing talent correctly Pride themselves on health and safety, yet fire evacuations are a shamble, propping doors open with fire extinguishers and all sorts Yearly appraisals not taken seriously, no bonus or incentives Expected to work long hours and be contactable via telephone all the time High turn over of staff people are always looking and demotivated A lot of the leadership have been there a long time and set in their ways. Awful off site parking 5 minutes walk away up a big mud hill but heads of departments get onsite parking. Awful traffic when getting into the car parks, you need to allow 10 minutes to que to get in.

Pros

Excellent Chief Executive who 'walks the talk'. Good training, great benefits in a fast growing company with plenty of opportunities.

Team work - customers - feeling like you are making a difference

Kontras

No support , blame culture , looking to blames managers for Everything and no accountability further up the Business. PMs that won’t stay . Things that change constantly. Systems that are not updated with the correct forms or procedures and then managers blamed for getting it wrong. Getting screamed at by residents or families for things you can not control . Feeling untrusted by our own company . Ask you for help one week and throw you to the wolves the next . I’ve seen it all and now it’s at the worst it’s ever been , DMs are applying else where in droves and pms !! Development managers are customer facing we are the face of retirement but are treated like the lowest of the low of no value by the wonderful staff above pms . Investigations against colleagues when conversations co hi of of taking place instead . Such a blame culture
