The scenery and building is beautiful.

Since leaving First Tech I am now sleeping 7 hours a night. I was sleeping around 4 hours a night. I am not waking up at 3 am with my heart pounding. I am not having nightmares. I am not swearing and my fitbit app says my resting heart rate is now 66 which is super healthy. First Tech was killing me and they knew it. There is a lot of lying happening. Everyone is just trying to survive. All everyone wants is to go to work, do a good job and come home to their family but First Tech wants blood. Good employees leave. I have seen so many amazing people walk. It is so upsetting. The only thing First Tech cares about is their investors. They lie about issues, and ignore risks. Just lies. I cannot work that way. I don't lie. They have a communications course that they use as punishment. It doesn't fix anything. What they want is your silence. For those reasons and more, I cannot recommend First Tech to anyone.

Pros

One of the organized credit union to work with. Teams are structured well to fit the customer needs. Work life balance. I see the great improvement in learning curve. You will get chance to work with many out of the box solutions in banking .

Nice location, easy access, good D&I

I worked here for two years, the Pay scale was so low you had to work two jobs if you’re a single person. They have the customer service representatives doing sales, and then find ways to not give sales bonuses because your customer service levels aren’t high enough. I had worked in customer service for eight years and I’m still in customer service at another institution and never have I seen such ridiculous rules. If you have to send a request to another department and they call them back your first call resolution is crap. And remember this is a sales team so they pay you so little and work really hard to not give you a bonus. I talked to a Work coworker who stated that now they don’t get their quarterly bonuses because they have to be at 110% of First call resolution to get the quarterly sales. Bonus makes zero sense.
