It's very much like working in academia, but faster pace and without the many annoyances like limited budget and overbearing bureaucracy. - Significant freedom - Flexible work hours - Amazingly talented people - Great facilities and labs - Good pay - Equipment budget seems boundless - Free lunch

Should be a perfect work environment, but the majority of the company seems depressed and convinced that the mission won't work out. Hence, the company has had quite a few leavers prior to the pandemic.
