Maybe benefits for full time employees? The discounts are a joke. If you move beyond package handling there is advancement opportunities. 90% of the package handling managers are barely old enough to buy a beer...so it's a good place to start getting management experience. Opportunities come up often because noone wants to stay in that role for any length of time.

You are a number, not a person, not an asset, nothing. You are replaceable, and they have no problem telling you that. even though they can't hire enough people. If you last more than a month, you are a veteran, and even then they give no care about you. Half the equipment is broken and dangerous, but dont get hurt because thats too much paperwork for admin. Dont you dare use the bathroom if it's not a scheduled break. They will tell you to stay hydrated but give you the stink eye if you stop moving boxes. During the winter half the water fountains froze and it took months to fix. Employees are treated like criminals. Can't bring cell phone in or listen to music but admin can play on their cell phones all day long. Don't get sick, they won't believe you. Training is a joke. They tell you 90% of people hired don't last a month. Almost once a week the safety message includes some sort of threat about firing you. Also no diversity in leadership... the board of directors is a bunch of old white dudes.... as ancient as their management philosophy.

Easy to apply, fast to get hired (no interview process) and the pay

Very rude management, lack of care for safety, no drinkable water (all filters are in the red and have been since I started) They have cameras everywhere and are constantly watching you but say you can’t bring your own phone in because “people steal them”? There is junk everywhere. Lots of trash everywhere (employees drinks and food). They want you to work and eat on the line instead of giving you breaks to do so. They get upset when you use the bathroom or fill your water bottle even if you’ve been working for 3 hours straight but if you clock in at an area 2 min walking distance from your work area you’re “stealing time” I’ve noticed people of color get treated differently. The HR department has some of the most prejudice employees so there’s no real equality if you have conflict with someone. I’ve never been, but it feels like a prison to go in and out of the building and lastly you don’t work a consistent schedule. You leave when they say you can.
