FedEx has several pros. Salaries and benefits are not wonderful, but not bad. There are internal career development programs, topped by a internal recruitment system which is preferred to outside hiring. Service levels are high therefore you feel part of its success. There is clear and stable culture, policies, and procedures to serve as guidelines.
Kontras
No creativity, decision making power limited to your area of execution, all strategy decided on a corporate level in Memphis. Company has been changing last few years and its PSP philosophy is getting weaker every year. There is a lot of talk about open door and fair treatment but when you raise your voice you are left alone.
