Takes the current virus strain very seriously, repeat reminder for cleanliness in the office, that’s about it.

The plays for favouritism is very obvious, time and effort doesn’t pay off, book licking does.. once employer locked their eyes of disgruntled against you. You will not have an easy time there. And those employees who are in the goods of the bosses will take themselves as a higher authority over you. And make it known and bosses watch as the newbies get lectured in a nonsensical manner and turn a blind eye and sometimes even smirk, it’s a small group of staff here some of the staff here are here to beat down the newbies to climb up to the top to boot lick their boss, shaming colleagues loudly so all managers can hear “this person” made a mistake. Some mistakes can be adjusted right on the spot yet those bootlicker will go through the trouble of letting the boss know FIRST before coming over to the person who made the mistake. It’s a very toxic environment. So those would are keen to join the company. Please join only you’re willing to bootlick your way, if you’re not going to boot lick, you’ll be probably be doing what I’m doing now. Looking for job opportunities after wasting your time and knowing your effort is not seen by the company.

Good job to have during college. People are easy going and easy to get along with. Overall really good experience

The business model and lean staffing is simply unsustainable. Entry level pay, part time, little training, no commissions. Fastenal is focused on the sale rather than the customer. The wing it mentatility leaves customer service lacking. It's a roll coaster of putting one fire out after the other. They sale the position during the interview process but after your in there's empty promises with no real timelines for when the advancement is coming. Upper management seems out of touch with the day to day business. If you ask for help they simply say you have a good schedule. It's extremely disappointing that it has turned out this way because I was excited about the prospect of becoming an Account manager.
