Fastenal is a great company for anyone working part time. You get great part time pay, steady hours convient to your schedule, and its a great learning experience. You get to drive a nice work truck, meet lots of great people, and theres lots of great benefits. Fastenal likes to promote from within so theres a good chance of working your way up to outside sales or manager.

Fastenal likes to promote people to manager positions that they are not yet ready for so your have your handful of bad managers, like every company of course. The store you work at will most likely not be convienent for you at all, and alot of your check will go to gas. Time management can be somewhat stressful as part time depending which store you work at (stores with vending specifically). Training of employees is lacking which can also be said for communication with management.
