      Pros

      Excellent opportunities to blaze a trail in what was a very start-up-like environment. Great chance to work in up and coming markets in West Africa.

      Kontras

      Politics (sometimes literally Sudanese national politics) were too prevalent. People were in leadership roles and not held accountable because of their political affiliations rather than business acumen. Tons of lost opportunities because of it.
