Pros

Exceptional training program and everyone is very helpful, patient and very friendly. Everyone has been wonderful in making me feel like part of the Equifax Family and I really enjoy what I do and I have free reign to do my job how I like to without any constraints like time or unnecessary scripting. Overall, a great place to work!

Kontras

I would prefer to work Saturdays with a day off during the week. Its hard to take care of certain things during work hours, I have not mentioned this to anyone but probably will eventually.

My direct manager. Comp plan if you’re lucky enough to find several whale clients, and if you’re lucky, the commission is approved.

There are a lot. First, office politics. Equifax expects employees to be very corporate and robotic. Metrics metrics metrics. 100% focused on revenue, not customers. Metrics, metrics, metrics. PIP overuse. Even when you’re 150% to yearly plan 6mo in, they expect 300%. Make sure to keep receipts. Senior management will find the most ridiculous ways to push reps out, continently right before a huge payout of a very delayed commission plan. (Sell something in Jan 2025, you will only get a fraction of commission until June 26). That’s if the exception committee approves payout (which never happens). If you sell a big deal, don’t expect to get paid 100% of what the plan says.
