Pros

Compensation above industry average in some disciplines. Below in critical areas such as IT and Data/Analytics

Work environment in caustic. Leadership manages up extremely well but therein lies the problem. The 'up' are people you couldn't handle as neighbors let alone spending 9 hours a day in the same building. Lack of client focus and spend entirely too much time looking inward. People are not making decisions in fear of reciprocity.

There are a lot. First, office politics. Equifax expects employees to be very corporate and robotic. Metrics metrics metrics. 100% focused on revenue, not customers. Metrics, metrics, metrics. PIP overuse. Even when you’re 150% to yearly plan 6mo in, they expect 300%. Make sure to keep receipts. Senior management will find the most ridiculous ways to push reps out, continently right before a huge payout of a very delayed commission plan. (Sell something in Jan 2025, you will only get a fraction of commission until June 26). That’s if the exception committee approves payout (which never happens). If you sell a big deal, don’t expect to get paid 100% of what the plan says.
