CEO is Inspiring and an innovative deal maker; Pay is decent. Nice building facilities. Stable financial state.

Kontras

Insular view that lacks a strategic outlook among senior managers. Managers exercise power through a hierarchical style versus inspiring. Insecure leaders who micro- manage their employees. Zero tolerance for those with differing perspectives. Minimal diversity and only found at the lackey levels. They get people in with a a focus on pay, people get out because of the lack of focus on people.

My direct manager. Comp plan if you’re lucky enough to find several whale clients, and if you’re lucky, the commission is approved.

There are a lot. First, office politics. Equifax expects employees to be very corporate and robotic. Metrics metrics metrics. 100% focused on revenue, not customers. Metrics, metrics, metrics. PIP overuse. Even when you’re 150% to yearly plan 6mo in, they expect 300%. Make sure to keep receipts. Senior management will find the most ridiculous ways to push reps out, continently right before a huge payout of a very delayed commission plan. (Sell something in Jan 2025, you will only get a fraction of commission until June 26). That’s if the exception committee approves payout (which never happens). If you sell a big deal, don’t expect to get paid 100% of what the plan says.
