EI is a nonpartisan energy policy research firm with specialists across many disciplines. The people at EI are simply amazing. They include a wealth of knowledgeable climate experts, forward-thinking policy folks, and a well-equipped operations team. The organization remains at the forefront of analyzing energy policy & offers great benefits to its staff.

The organization and management could benefit from greater transparency, though this is something they've worked on in the last year. Still a white-dominated staff, but that has also improved significantly.

Interesting work, lots of smart colleagues

If you don't get along with your supervisor then you have no recourse, because there is no accountability for upper management. There is very little diversity. Poor retention rate.
