..Well, there's a longggg list 1. the biggest con is the boss/managing director of the company. she'll literally con you into joining her company picturing starry days and nights. she'll behave very well with you the first 2-3 months or until when the peak period lasts after which she'll show you her true, mean side, which has no bounds or emotions. You were once like her daughter/son, but now you're just an employee who did all the work because you "volunteered" to or because you "liked" to - you dint need to do it... U could've said no 2. You're completely on your own once you join Training is very crucial for new joinees. the employer doesnt believe so. you'll be like "jumping in an ocean without knowing how to swim" -. so, you know, you'll drown. you either dont jump or just get ready to die. Ive seen new employees sitting, staring at the computer screen because they didnt know what to do for weeks. they were given tonnes of work, just didnt know how it would be done. :D and thn they were yelled at fr not doing ther work 3. no basic amenities in the office. they stock up the inventory about 2-3 days after the things finish. Toilet paper's finished? wait 2-3 days until someone reminds the boss for the 10th time. they boast of having sanitizers in every room - that is NOT the case, cant stress enough. 4. no paid leaves. their contract and job postings say that they have paid leaves, but they dont. its a big flex. first of all, taking a leave is a big pain during the peak period because your boss will ask you the reason that you couldnt be present - even if you are sick - in spite of the fact that your salary will get deducted for that day any way. 5. no perks. no perks, no bonus, no incentive (although whe might pitch it during your interview) 6. no work from home policy the world has realized how work from can be managed effectively and efficiently. however , this one may ask you to come to the office until you or someone in the team catches the deadly virus. you wanna work from home? simply take the day off. Mystically, this changes during the peak period because the lady wants work done out of you any damn way. 7. you cant be friendly or even interactive with your colleagues you talk fo your colleages, even if its something related to work, the boss will snap at you - ask you why you are talking - yell at you to know that this is work time, not socializing time - she yells at her employees even in front of the clients. 8. the company's like a 20 yaar old startup you dont have a singular job profile the boss here will hire you for one thing but expect you to do other things. because apparently your success in the role you had joined for wont give you an appraisal, but the other things will. so if youre joining thhe marketing team, you may have to also do graphics , sales , making contracts , etc. the boss doesnt like people doing just one thing. especially if thats the only role they joined for. 9. you directly interact with the company's clients with your own phone number. yes. the clients can call you any time of the day simply because they have your number. they call and you dont pick up aftee working hours. the next day the boss will come at you "why didnt you pick up xxx's phone?" hell annoying and shameless. 10. the company has no macromanagement, only micromanagement theres no bigger picture here. the employees arent moving towards the company's bigger goals, because there are none (therefore they've had a static number of employees for ywars now), the employees are being micromanaged so they meet their individual targets. .. because the boss loves to get too personal 11. everyday morning meetings good luck. there will be 25% work talk... the boss will discuss your to do list and then disregard it and give you work that she wants you to do, futile absolutely futile ; the rest of meetings is mostly the boss praising herself and winking at you for god knows what reason or taking everyone into a frenzy if theres no tension in the office because she lives to create that environment. these meetimgs will last forever and then you'll be asked at the end of the day or the next day why you couldnt complete your work. also, in these meetings, the boss is NEVEEEEEERRr going to discuss the grievances of the employees or if anybody needs anything. 12. You work till late. - theres no appreciaton of any kind, you come late - your half day will get deducted from the monthly salary The lady has no leadership skills or qualification , she pulls you down every time she can and places herself on a pedestal and worships herself, wouldn't be surprised if she literally does that some day 13. No professionalism Hahahahahahhaahahahahahhahahahaha 14. The only festival celebrated here is Diwali 15. No holiday on Christmas (horrible holiday policies)
