No shame in doing so; it's a natural component to learning. - The internship isn't necessarily geared at software engineering only. They invite you to coffee chats and other talks to give a well-rounded perspective of the company's business direction, and how your work complements their consulting offering under Xerxes Global.

You don't get too much interaction with many peers in software engineering. Apart from the coffee chats, work is a tad isolating if you don't make the effort to get out of your chair.
