Pros
My personal favorite thing about the Executive Team is that each quarter they host a Town Hall to everyone in the company. The vision of where we are and where we are going is shared. The team addresses the wins and failures of the quarter equally. Each Town Hall hosts a "Hot Seat" Q&A that anyone can ask anything of the Executive Team. From here, each team has goals to work towards that support the overall business. Employees are expected to complete their goals each quarter in a fully remote environment. Being remote means we can, and often do, work from anywhere with a strong internet connection. This give liberties when other companies have required a Return To Office mentality. Any adult that can manage their goals, be attentive at meetings, can essentially set their own schedule without micro-management.
Kontras
Scheduling meetings across multiple time zones is difficult, and requires flexibility from everyone. The two main offices are in Central and Pacific time zones. East Coast to West Coast is typically the most strained meeting type. Meetings in the middle of the day requires advanced planning for lunch breaks. Being fully remote gets lonely at times. The 2 offices (Dallas and Las Vegas) are optional for all locals to come in and work. However, when only 1-2 people are in the office it's no better than working from home.
