Pros

Money, maybe, but you will sacrifice too much to get there. Not worth the money! They pay far too little for what they ask of you.

Kontras

I worked several years in management for this company. I hired and fired a lot of people and saw many come and go. If DriveTime were a person interviewing, and was completely honest up front, this is what it would/should tell you: 1. When I interview you, I will praise my work/life balance. But what I won't tell you is that it doesn't exist. Bigfoot is more real than work/life balance here. 2. I will expect everything from you. You will have to sacrifice your family time, personal time, birthdays, holidays, kid's activities and games, friend's lives, funerals, sick time, hospital emergencies of loved ones, and anything else! If you are not at my store, you will be called lazy and no good-because I should always come first. 3. I love to motivate through my managers. I will do it by calling you lazy, undedicated, a liar, nepotistic, weak and will demean you in anyway I can. My favorite is to threaten your job and tell you that you would be nothing without me. 4. I preach job security, but like #1, it doesn't exist. Just ask Bigfoot. 5. You will be blamed for everything that goes wrong. I never do anything wrong, and I will work hard to convince you of that. If you believe otherwise, I will find ways to 'motivate' you.... 6. I love you to voice your opinions; in fact, I encourage it! That way, I have 'reason' to 'motivate' (see number 3). 7. My higher up managers do nothing wrong. If you think they do, please see number 5. They aren't complete wastes of space, I need somebody to call you a liar and 'motivate' you. 8. I won't tell you that the cars you sell are junk. You will realize that for yourself. I will train you to get the customer off the lot in a car full of problems because most of them will just fix the car for me. That will save me money. 9. I love to make myself look better than I am. I will encourage employees to write fake positive reviews online to make myself look better. I don't want all of the truth out. 10. Lastly, and most importantly, I will always fight hard to save a deal with a customer. They are like gold to me! When it comes to you as an employee, you are like a tissue to me. I will use you as much as I can, leave you with my mess, then dispose of you. You are dispensable and I will make sure you know that! You make one mistake, even if you think it's my fault (see number 5), and I will get rid of you. My true nature is out there for all to see, and I won't hide it because you aren't worth the trouble. Only the customer's money is.

Pros

Break room Covered work area good lighting

Kontras

Deceptive Company policy that is hard to access (Need to create a case with HR to review policies that are not easily located). Management over work with little notice for demand of Overtime. Management Typically uses google search to base their decisions instead of consulting their diagnostic team. Over demand of core job responsibilities ( Doing more than what you agreed to do upon hire). If Something was missed or not performed a certain way management will stop your production to show what you did wrong with the expectation that you will still hit production targets. Management also tends to talk down instead of a coaching approach. If you happen to go above and beyond (which is hard to do) little rewards come your way ( Things that wont come). Typical work shifts consists of maintaining a pace that is hard to achieve to always hit targets even if several roadblocks are in the way that you cant avoid. Overall working here I found it difficult to effectively communicate with management or other co-workers. * Working here I have personally experienced Sexual harassment and sexual assault, I have informed management and have heard no update on that topic other than "talked to said employee". Then Said Employee's behavior changed and found it extremely difficult to perform duties.
